A: Generally, the PA Supreme benefits will not cover whilst the insured; is active in military service, professional sports and extreme sports, has a sickness or disease, commits suicide or has a self-inflicted injury, is pregnant or gives birth or works as flight crew.
Q: Does Personal Accident insurance provide worldwide coverage?
A: Yes. Most standalone Personal Accident insurance provides 24 hours worldwide coverage.
Q: Is there cover for the death of the Insured even though the insured has another existing payable Life and Personal Accident insurance?
A: Yes, if the cause of death is due to a legitimate accident, and it pays on top of existing owned policies by the Insured. Each policy is independent of the other.
Q: What does “Personal Effects and Belongings” refer to?
A: Personal effects and belongings refers to articles that are hand carried and/or worn accessories by the Insured but excluding jewellery items, mobile phones, pager, portable computers/PDAs and the like, cameras and video equipment.
Q: Under what situations are Evacuation or Repatriation benefits applicable?
A: It is applicable when an accident occurs overseas and in the opinion of International SOS Pte Ltd or their authorised representative(s) that the emergency evacuation or a repatriation service is required by the Insured.
